Palm Beach County · Certified Translation & Apostille

Certified Translation & Apostille.

In most cases you'll need both: the apostilled document plus its certified translation. We run them as one order — one handoff, one timeline.

Overview

The certified translation apostille, handled end-to-end.

The apostille authenticates a document; it doesn't translate a word of it. If your Florida birth certificate is bound for a civil registry in Bogotá, a notary in São Paulo, or an Italian comune, the receiving office will almost certainly demand a certified translation to accompany the apostille. Splitting the two jobs between separate vendors is precisely how deadlines get missed.

We bundle them. One order covers the apostille filing and a certified translation by a professional translator with a signed certificate of accuracy — Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Haitian Creole, Russian, and 20+ other languages. In Palm Beach County, where documents move constantly between South Florida and Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe, this is our most natural pairing of services.

Why It's Needed

Why Palm Beach County residents need a certified translation apostille.

Latin American Civil Registries

U.S. documents headed to Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, Peru, or the Dominican Republic need certified Spanish translations — frequently executed or ratified by an official translator on the receiving end, a workflow our format is built to support.

Brazilian Procedures

Brazil's registries and notaries insist on sworn translation — our certified translations are formatted for tradução juramentada ratification once they arrive in Brazil.

Italian Citizenship Files

Every apostilled vital record in a jure sanguinis file must carry a certified Italian translation for the consulate or comune.

Spanish Immigration & Residency

Spain's extranjería offices work with traducción jurada — we coordinate translations that hold up in Spanish administrative procedure.

Foreign Court Filings

Apostilled judgments, decrees, and affidavits going before foreign courts need certified translations alongside them.

Into-English Translation

And in the other direction: foreign documents entering U.S. immigration or court proceedings need certified English translation — we do that too.

Requirements

What 'certified translation' actually means — and what your country will expect.

In the U.S., a certified translation is a complete and accurate rendering accompanied by a signed certificate of accuracy from the translator or agency — a standard that satisfies USCIS and most receiving countries. Some destinations stack their own layer on top: Spain's sworn (jurada) translators, Brazil's juramentada system, Italy's asseverazione. The practical route changes with the destination.

This is precisely the judgment call we help make: whether your destination honors a U.S. certified translation, whether the translation itself needs notarizing and its own apostille, and what order the steps run in (translate after the apostille, so the certificate gets translated too — the sequencing catches people constantly). Name the country and the receiving office, and we'll lay out the correct path.

FAQ

Common questions.

Apostille first or translation first — which order?

Nearly always: apostille first, translation second — that way the translation includes the apostille certificate itself, which most foreign registries insist on. It's the sequencing error we see most.

What languages do you handle?

Spanish and Portuguese we translate every day; French, Italian, Haitian Creole, Russian, Ukrainian, German, and twenty-plus more are readily on hand. For rarer languages, ask — our network is wide.

Does the translation itself need an apostille too?

Sometimes — when the translator's signature is notarized, that notarized translation can receive its own apostille, which certain countries (and some Italian comuni) require. We'll verify your destination's rule before you pay for an apostille you don't need.

Is your translation accepted by USCIS?

Yes — our certified translations come with a signed certificate of accuracy, which is what USCIS requires for foreign-language documents in immigration filings.

How is translation priced?

Per page, based on language and complexity. Vital records carry flat pricing; long decrees get quoted up front from a photo. Send the photo and you'll have a firm number the same day.

Can you translate and apostille in a rush?

A vital-record translation usually adds just 1–2 days on top of the apostille, and rush options exist for both. Call us with your deadline.

Can you translate from Spanish or Portuguese into English?

Yes — birth certificates, marriage records, and diplomas from abroad, translated into certified English for U.S. immigration, courts, and schools.

The consulate refused my previous translation. Can you redo it?

Usually, yes — most translation rejections trace back to a missing certificate of accuracy, an incomplete translation, or the wrong sequence with the apostille. Show us the rejection note and we'll redo it properly.
